Initially, it looks to be in great condition and probably has not been played much. However, the upper joint has at least one repaired crack.very nicely done. The pads and corks are older but still look to be in good condition. This one may or may not need some work to be playable. The case is in excellent condition. The Soprano, Baritone and Bass Mark VI saxophones were produced until serial #365000 in 1984, and Alto and Tenor Mark VI production ended (approximately) in 1975 at serial #239,595. Super Action 80 Series II, Series III and Reference horns are currently in production.
