Everything was always a "we'll have to get back to you" even when it was a what seemed like a very simple question. They also don't seem to know what we are talking about whenever we contacted them for suppot either. They had me collecting all this data with tools to figure all that out and then waited the long wait to learn absolutely nothing.

Not how the machines were infected or how they got passed the password protected BitDefender AV Clients which had Ransomware Protection enabled. Ransomware response from Bitdefender crew took over a week and had no decryption tool (which I understand they can't have it for all) but they couldn't tell me anything other than that.

Also one home office site with one PC was infected with ransomware. One Site lost 4 of 5 PCs, only because one was turned off and the other site lost all 4 PCs. 2 of those sites were completey hit with Ransomware (no lie, posted several other times about this). We had Bitdefender deployed to our smaller clients base (5 or less PCs and no DC) at about 4 different sites. I would not recommend bitdefender either. I can't recall a single problem with infections on a Symantec EPS controlled PC.

I didn't like Symantec based on their solo PC AV product lines but their Endpoint is full featured and works great. Everyone has their favorite so it's a good idea to try the demos and see which you prefer.

I figured it would be good to post an opinion from a current customer to balance out all the ones from past customers. Features include web filtering, ransomware protection, device control, and application control. It's an all in one solution with an easy to manage console, the best cloud console in the business in my opinion. I think it has the best Next Gen features compared to the others as well a new support portal should you need it. I've tested cloud products from Webroot, Sophos, Bitdefender, and I find WFBSS to be the best, especially with the redesigned console.

Many changes have been made since then, Worry Free Business Security Services is what we have been using for the last 3 years and it's been great. I think you should do a demo, most of the comments that didn't recommend it sound like it's been a while since they've used it and might of been on a different product. Curious if any antivirus right now will still support 2003 (please don't say it, i can't control this server and its out of my hands). After they started signing paperwork and working towards closing the deal, they realized there was a ton of fine print and it was actually going to cost almost twice as much (they basically had been quoted for the product when they were "told" pricing, but the contract also had "support" in it, which was not optional, so it was very misleading).Īlright I guess I will steer away from Trend Micro. Their endpoint protection may as well have been non-existent, because it wouldn't block anything.ģ) Not even a year ago a friend told me they chose Trend Micro because they were offered special pricing. He had so many mad customers because he told them it was the best thing ever and they were having issues right and left, getting infected and causing major performance issues.Ģ) My first experience in a business setting was equally as bad. However, we had one employee who sold a ton of it. I hated the product and have never put money over my morals, so I rarely sold any. We were supposed to "upsale" Trend Micro because we were supposed to get a kickback from the employer. For some reference, bad experiences include:ġ) My first job in IT was in a retail/repair shop. It's been years since I've had personal experience with Trend Micro, but it was always bad and I still hear bad things on a regular basis.
